How to choose best school for your Child?



Well no one wants to compromise or make a mistake in choosing a school for his/her child. This is one of the core decisions which require lots of careful consideration as it can make or break your child’s career. Gone are the days when choices were limited w.r.t. curriculum, proximity of school, quality of teaching staff, specialized trainings etc. Now so many curriculums & schools are there that you have enough of choices available. You are the one who knows what is right for your kid. Here I’m just listing few of the criteria one should take into consideration while making this vital decision.

Step 1 - Curriculum: In India, you have following different curriculums in place. You can click on each of the link to get more information from wiki pages.
                            
Step 2 – List down the schools offering selected curriculum in your 10kms vicinity.

Step 3 – Now create a comparison chart in following manner w.r.t. following criteria or whatever you feel is important to you. Start giving evaluation marks out of 100. I’ve given multiplication factor based on importance level of criteria. This is mentioned in round brackets after each factor in row heading. You can adjust it based on your needs & perceptions.
